Yamaha YSP-4100 provides a virtual surround sound system experience through its integrated Intellibeam technology used in the speaker bar. There are four HDMI inputs allowing the user to have the privilege of connecting various home theater gears including Blu-Ray players. The sound bar has a decoder for the HD audios and Yamaha has also issued a firmware upgrade for making YSP-4100 3D compatible and audio return channel. Even though a sub woofer is not included, Yamaha has included an adaptor with the set for connecting any wireless woofers. FM tuner, Satellite radio compatibility, iPhone and iPod connectivity etc are some other highlights of Yamaha YSP-4100. The sound bar has an automatic speaker setup option. Yamaha has carefully included the setup as manual setup seems to be a real chore.
Not to say that the Yamaha YSP-4100 sound bar is not for everyone, but as a matter of fact, it is advisable for those who don’t mind spending bit extra for a cozy look and quality sound for their TV rooms.
