LG Quantum Windows Phone 7 Smartphone

While the Smart Phone market is being overloaded with Android based hand phones and iPhone and Blackberries, LG took a risky step in introducing a new member which runs on a Windows Phone 7 platform, which is something that most manufacturers haven’t given a second thought. Let’s get a whole picture of this latest Smartphone addition.

  • Design – Unlike many other Smartphone members, LG Quantum is equipped with a QWERTY keypad as well as a virtual one in its 3.5 inch large touch screen. The reason is due to the market research which shows the ‘comfort’ factor in a physical keypad as compare with even the most comfortable virtual pads.
  • Multimedia – Moving on to the camera, LG Quantum has a 5 Mega pixel camera with a 5x zoom and also an LED in built flash.. The camera can record video in 720 HD. LG’s Zune media player seems to be perfect for your audio and video entertainments. Synchronization is done either via wireless through Wi-Fi or through an USB cable. Zune pass subscription makes your world of entertainment via LG Quantum a reality.
  • Call Features/Quality – The phone is equipped with the necessities such as speaker phone, call forward, conference calls, caller ID and also call waiting.
  • Memory/Storage – Memory of 16GB integrated seems perfect for an average user or a beginner.
  • Additional Features – LG Quantum comes with a built in GPS receiver along with Google Maps. Connectivity wise, you can opt between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi options. Default browser is as usual in any windows phone – Internet Explorer.

LG Quantum for its credibility’s, is for sure going to create fluctuations in the market as compared to the earlier Win Mo versions and the more successful brands.
