After just finishing the revolutionary Windows Phone Mango or Windows 7 just months earlier, Microsoft has already completed their development on a new version of the Windows Mobile. The hype surrounding this development is so great and it becomes hotter when recently, leaked pictures showing one of the new features of this new version called Windows Phone Tango or Windows 7.5.
The feature in spotlight here is the Content Search, where it functions, as the name implies, is by finding the content wanted by the phone users directly on the phone and the web. This content search can also search through the Facebook pages directly without opening the Facebook application, and this has also been proved based from the leaked picture in the Internet. There is still no news yet whether the Content Search will also be operational in Twitter or other social network websites but the chances are quite favourable for it. The Content Search can also search by using voices, which is similar to the function that the iPhones have. This feature received quite a good response and feedback from the existing Windows Phone Mango users.
This Windows Phone Tango is said to be just a stepping stone before the giant release of Windows Phone Apollo or better known as Windows 8 which is scheduled for release next year. This Windows 7.5 is said to be just a small update for the eye-opening Windows 7 and will be available for the Asia region only, and there are also other speculations all over the internet that this update will be available for Nokia phones only, which is categorized as low-priced handphones. This may be an act to save Nokia from being extinct where in a recent poll, only 2 percent of smart phone users are using this brand. The top brand is Apple with 28 percent, followed by RIM Blackberry and HTC with are tied in second place with 20 percent. The highly acclaimed Galaxy S II manufacturer, Samsung is in the fourth place with 10% with Motorola having a tiny advantage over it to take the third place with 11 percent.
Windows Phone Tango has already finalised its development by Microsoft and this operating system is expected to reach you shores in September, which most probably will emerge with a number of newly designed Windows Phone 7.5 devices. Users who fall in love with the beauty and the minimalist design of Windows Phone 7 will surely anticipate the release of this new Windows Phone version.
